Are we true Nationalist ?

For the past few years the most talked about and misused word is Nationalism.How many of us understand the true meaning of this word? The literal meaning is patriotic feeling ,principles or effort. Every now and then so called verbal patriots question nationalism of others.

Is Nationalism only

• When you shout on social media or use some hashtag or display on your DP ?
• Killing and Raping in the name of eating habits is Nationalism?
• Big shots do not disclose their actual assets and thus escape from paying Tax is Nationalism?
• People come up with fishy schemes and fool people around is this Nationalism?
• Taking Bribe for the work which your are being paid by the government is Nationalism?
• You spit on the road without caring of pedestrian is this Nationalism?
• People pee on the road side without any shame is this Nationalism?
• bullying your collegues of other caste and religion in workplace is this Nationalism?

There are end number things that raises question of Nationalism.Being part of freedom struggle is not enough.One needs to contribute in every tits and bits daily.We can be true nationalist only when we abide  by the law and also encourage too.Most important No double standards ,Hypocrisy Please.

The Perspective………

On the street, in the shop or in Office lunch room the hot topic that is being discussed is Bihar Election. Everybody seems to be hypnotised by the BJP Leadership. None of them is using the logic .They are happy because he is accusing the previous ruling party leadership. The more he will accuse them the more happy moments for their supporters. General concept is that if they will come to power magically things will change overnight.

Whereas there has been substantial improvement in Bihar under present leadership, which is very good but still Bihar has to go long way. Major emphasis to be given on infrastructure, education, unemployment, cleanliness & hygiene.

BJP is one Party where no one else is capable of delivering speech (especially taunting speech) neither has the ability to deliver. We hardly hear some valuable & hard core dream for India.

They are on the footstep of Britisher i.e. saffronisation of “Divide and Rule “Policy. Playing Religion card on National Level and Casteism card on State level, joined hands with Jatan Ram Manjhi & Ram Bilas Paswan in Bihar to woo the voters of particular caste. It seems they are aware that the Modi waves on which they were riding high is calming down.

The way he gave his speech in Dubai criticizing his own predecessor, the way he spoke in Bihar criticizing the Chief Minister for asking Special Status seems so downgraded .One cannot expect such behaviour & mannerism from the Person who hold such high esteem position. It seems as if Saas Bahu fight is on when he speaks J

The hate politics they are preaching which will not lead to anywhere .The gap between the two communities is widening. Instead its normal questioning the patriotism of Muslims.  It’s normal to get comments of being Pakistani.

I have come across such situation on many occasion but recently on the independence day when we all came up after flag hoisting one of my colleague smiled and said  “Islamabad Zindabad , I also smiled and replied “I will become ISIS and shoot You “

We The Women

I saw the first episode of second season SATYAMEV JAYATE. It dealt with the issue of rape. They showed heart-wrenching tale of women who went through this agony.

Throughout the episode my eyes was filled with tears. It showed the ground and cruel reality of our society & the grim situation of women safety. After watching this I was numb for hours.

As it is said in India daughters are the form of Goddess LAXMI. We are heading in 21^st century and our society is considered as educated society, importance of education and wisdom is shown this way. If anyone steps on our foot we shout on the person, with this little pain we shout because we cannot bear it, can you imagine the pain, helplessness, torture a women goes through in this situation.

What is our contribution in improving the situation answer is NOTHING. Our so called politician are busy making money through scams, fighting for power, busy indulging masses into mandir masjid fight. They are up to everything but safety of citizen, women empowerment, infrastructure development, peaceful environment are not on their list. And luckily if they talk on these topics merely for the VOTE bank & nothing else.

Now each and every one of us has to work in their own capacity to change the system or the way things are moving. Though it will take time but when citizen or the people of country arouses the change is inevitable.
